3 days after returning from the Keys, Scott and I headed to the East Coast for 4 days. Scott (along with Blue) qualified for the Matchplay Championship held at Quail Valley Golf Club. This was my first FSGA event and I really enjoyed it! Day I was great...he shot a 75. I walked all 18 holes! Day II...no comment :-) Unfortunately, he didn't make it to the next round. We did find an incredible hotel/resort (Capt Hiram's) off of US1. The beach bar and restaurant were fantastic. Needless to say, I am finally glad to be home! We have enjoyed our summer travels! And, it looks like I will be accompanying Scott to more events!
